Best Gift Story:
The “DIY Advent Calendar“ Gift

Two years ago we missed out on getting one of my wife’s favorite holiday traditions - the Aldi's Advent Wine Calendar. I decided to create my own wine advent calendar. I went to a craft store and purchased a rectangular crate, some 4x36” mailing tubes, and curated my own selection of 12 half/mini-wines that fit her preferences from local wine shops (can't be drinking every day during the holidays!). I wrapped the tubes in Christmas wrapping paper and filled them with the bottles/cans. She loved it and all the neighbor’s wives asked if I could teach their husbands how to do this. I still have the crate with the tubes in it and might just "re-gift" it again to her this year.
