• Practical

• Limits guesswork

• Gift to child and parent(s)/caregiver(s)

• Gift with a high probability of success

Before you try to guess, inquire with a parent or the kid (gift recipient). They’ll know best about:

• Size

• Retailer

• Which items will be well received

If you have a photo of them wearing the item, consider using Google Lens free image search option to identify retailers who carry the item (here’s a Google Lens tutorial)

Knowing clothing items eventually get discontinued, you might want to consider buying the next 2 sizes up

Items to consider for next-size-up opportunities:

• Coats

• Pajamas

• Footwear

• Sportswear

• Hats/gloves

• Shirts/tops

• Pants/bottoms

• Who are the growing children on your gift list?___

• When are you giving them a gift next?___

• When should you reach out to them or their parents to inquire about next-size-up opportunities?___
